We are a small club of people who enjoy gardens and gardening. We don't
hold competitions and you don't even need to have a garden to join us! We
have a wide range of speakers during the winter months - meeting on the
third Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm in the Kirk Hall, Colmonell, and
garden visits in the summer months. We hope you enjoy them. We just enjoy
gardening and sharing advice on things to grow!
Contact us on 01465

The club is for anyone living in the
Stinchar Valley and surrounding area with an interest in gardens, gardening
or plants – and all are welcome. The winter events are good places to
discuss all aspects of gardens and gardening, exchanging knowledge and
advice in a friendly atmosphere over a cup of tea or coffee.
When we
visit gardens not usually open to the public, the owners generally provide
teas and coffees (sometimes with home baking!) for a contribution to a
charity of their choice – and we are always made to feel very welcome.
September - April we meet on the third Wednesday of the month – at
7.30pm in Colmonell Kirk Hall – and all are welcome.
The annual
membership subscription is £12.00, payable in September, and the charge for
non-members at meetings is £3.00. In addition to the invited speakers we
enjoy a cuppa, a chat, and an exchange of ideas, tips and experiences. We
look forward to greeting both old and new faces.
