Fishing

The River Stinchar is considered one of the most productive of the Ayrshire salmon rivers and it can provide some excellent fly fishing.

The River Stinchar is a typical Scottish west coast spate river - fishing is at its best in a falling water immediately after a summer or autumn spate.

For a complete Guide to Fishing on the River Stinchar, visit the Fishing web site here.

There is also an  excellent trout fishing loch at Pinbraid,  near Colmonell.
NOTE: Pinbraid is tempoarily closed.
